About SW Boatworks

SW Boatworks is located in Lamoine, Maine, nestled between Mount Desert Island and Downeast Maine. SW Boatworks specializes in all aspects of finish work, from the drawing board to completion. These boat styles always include Lobster, yacht, deep sea fishing, pleasure, passenger, and Cost Guard Approved vessels. With our experienced building and finishing crew, SW Boatworks will build you the boat of your choice.

In 2008, SW Boatworks expanded our lines of boats with the purchase of the Calvin Beal models. These include the Calvin Beal 34’, 36’, 38’, and the 44’. In 2010, SW Boatworks bought the entire line of world famous Young Brothers Boats, in lengths ranging from 30’ – 46’, with a total of 9 models to choose from. Both Calvin Beal and the Young Brothers lines are world renowned and appreciated for their seaworthiness, spaciousness, stability, fuel efficiency, and speed. These striking models have been commercially proven and enjoyed by fishermen and yachtsmen alike along the rockbound east coast.
