Front Street Shipyard is building more than boats. We're building an exceptional team of talented craftspeople and experienced technicians who excel in their professions. Founded by the talent behind some of the most distinctive, arresting boats on the water, Front Street Shipyard is a fusion of boatbuilding skills in both wood and composite materials. From plank-on-frame and cold-molded construction of classic yachts to carbon fiber and Kevlar production of modern boats, Front Street Shipyard's owners and employees have vast experience from which to draw.

Service and refits.
Bring your power or sailing yacht to us for the care and enhancements she needs. Whether it's an annual application of varnish or more extensive composite repairs, we will afford your boat the proper attention she deserves. We have experts in rigging, mechanical systems, electrical repairs, and electronics upgrades.

Mid-coast Maine marina.
Whether you spend the summer sailing in Belfast Harbor or just plan to visit mid-coast Maine on your cruising vacation, make Front Street Shipyard your port of call. Our marina has slips for yachts up to 120 feet with 30-, 50- and 100-amp shorepower and water available on the docks. Rates for the 2011 season are reduced while we undertake infrastructure improvements in the boatyard.
