Alison Langley has earned national recognition for her exquisite nautical photography, capturing the light, beauty and motion of classic yachts around the world. Her work appears frequently on the covers of national and international sailing magazines.
Alison studied film at New York University, and photography at the Rhode Island School of Design. Opportunity took her to Australia where she learned to sail. Smitten with the lifestyle, for six years, she crewed on yachts and sailed around the world, taking photos all the while. Whether aboard a 130ft Brigantine sailing around Australia, or a Swan 651 through Southeast Asia and the South Pacific, classic wooden boats became her love and her focus. Alison’s work has been published in magazines such as Cruising World, Yachting, Sail, and Travel & Leisure.
