Farrin’s Boat Shop, Walpole, ME

In Farrin’s Boat Shop is a Calvin Beal 42, which is fitted out as a patrol boat for the Maine Department of Marine Resources.

Her accommodations down below she include a V-berth, head, and a wet hanging locker. A portside galley includes a microwave, refrigerator, and coffeemaker. In the pilothouse there are two seats and an L-shaped settee with a dinette. In the cockpit the boat is outfiotted with a 17-inch hauler, an A-frame davit, open stern, and a cradle for a hard-bottom inflatable. A hydraulic winch helps in hauling in the inflatable.

This boat is nearing completion and most of the work is fairing, painting, hooking up the systems and minor finish work. She is expected to go over in spring 2021.
