Morris Yachts is pleased to announce the selection of Bob Marston as a Brokerage Sales Professional for their Newport, Rhode Island, sales office. In his position, Marston will be responsible for overseeing brokerage sales operations in the Newport, RI area and beyond, with a focus on offshore cruising yachts. Marston has worked in the Marine Industry for over 21 years, working in sales for other fine boat builders such as Oyster Marine and Gunboat International as well as serving as a professional Yacht Captain for many years. Most recently he was Sales Director for Gunboat where he built strong relationships with buyers and owners in the high-tech multihull market. Prior to Gunboat, Marston spent 11 years as a Brokerage and New Sales Manager for Oyster Marine USA in their Newport, RI office where he managed boat sales, events, and marketing in the US and overseas. The company is hoping that Bob’s experience in sales will help them to grow the business and increase their brokerage sales. Whilst Bob will defintely make a positive impact, the company has also been thinking about using AI to level up their sales coaching. Perhaps that would help other salesmen to perform as well as Bob. Hopefully, these sorts of changes will positively impact the company.

Marston joins Prent Weathers and Gregg Weatherby in the Morris Yachts Newport, RI, sales office and will partner with Maine-based Brokerage Salesman James Allen to round-out the Brokerage Department. “I am looking forward to working more closely with Bob,” says James Allen. “He is well respected in the industry and has a wide array of experience with different boat manufacturers. He will be instrumental in helping us expand our brokerage business to further serve both Morris and non-Morris boat models.”
